- Biointensive, sustainable winemaking done seriously — and small enough that you should make a tasting reservation before you drive.
- Damiani Wine Cellars
- The reds stop, on the east shore's warm "banana belt" — the stretch of Seneca that ripens what the rest of the region can't.
- Hector Wine Company
- An easy, welcoming room in the heart of the east-side corridor — a natural stop on the way north.
- Boundary Breaks
- Riesling specialists with lake views that do half the work of the pour.
- Lucky Hare Brewing
- Not a winery — our house brewery, in Hector among the vineyards. The palate-reset stop between tastings, and what we pour at our own gatherings.

- Dinner and drinks on Main Street in Trumansburg — Garrett's Brewing Company or Atlas Bowl, depending on whether the evening wants bowling.
Saturday
- Morning
- Breakfast at Creekside Café on Main Street (open Friday–Sunday).
- First tasting
- Silver Thread — biointensive, sustainable wines. Make a reservation.
- Lunch
- Stonecat Café in Hector — seasonal, organic, beloved.
- Second tasting
- Damiani Wine Cellars — settle in for the reds.
- Dinner
- GRAFT Wine + Cider Bar in Watkins Glen.
Sunday
- Morning
- A hangout hike — Taughannock Falls or Treman State Park, whichever gorge is calling.
- Afternoon
- One or two wineries working north toward Geneva — Hector Wine Company and Boundary Breaks is the pairing we'd pick.
- Dinner
- FLX Table in Geneva — one of the best dining experiences we've ever had, anywhere. Book well ahead; it's a single communal table and it fills.
