Married Among the Pines
An intimate Finger Lakes wedding retreat where your closest people celebrate — and stay — together for the whole weekend.
Begin Your InquiryOur Own Wedding Happened Here
We know what this weekend feels like
We're Lex and Shona. We were married beneath these pines and celebrated in the wildflower meadow just beyond them — the same ground we now offer to other couples.
That's the reason Perry City Manors doesn't work like a conventional venue. There's no ballroom, no rigid timeline, no next wedding waiting in the parking lot. There's a quiet stretch of Finger Lakes woods and meadow, a few houses full of the people you love most, and enough room in the weekend for the slow morning coffee, the long dinner, and the last conversation by the fire.
The photographs on this page are from our wedding day.
Three Ways to Celebrate
However your weekend takes shape
Couples use the property in three different ways — and you don't have to hold your wedding here to make Perry City Manors part of your wedding weekend.
Wedding Weekends
The full experience: ceremony and reception on the property, with family and your closest friends staying onsite from Friday through Sunday.
- Ceremony in the pine forest
- Reception in the wildflower meadow
- Barn Manor for getting ready
- Farm Manor & Barn Manor for lodging
- Camp SkyTent tree tents, seasonally
Intimate Weddings & Gatherings
Smaller celebrations, and the gatherings that surround a wedding — the ones people often remember just as fondly as the day itself.
- Intimate weddings & micro-weddings
- Elopements
- Rehearsal dinners
- Welcome gatherings
- Anniversary celebrations
Wedding Accommodations
Getting married somewhere else in the Finger Lakes? We've hosted many wedding parties, families, and friends attending weddings at other venues.
- A private home base for the weekend
- Room for the wedding party under one roof
- Peaceful, picturesque, and centrally located
- Space for a welcome dinner or a farewell brunch
The Setting
Pines, meadow, and open sky
A stand of jack pines makes a cathedral of the ceremony — tall, quiet, and cool even in August. Past the treeline, the wildflower meadow opens to the sky and holds the reception.
The renovated Barn Manor gives the wedding party a beautiful place to get ready. Fire pits, trails, and porches take care of everything in between.
It is deliberately not a banquet hall. Nothing here is polished into anonymity — it's a working landscape that happens to be lovely.
Stay Together
Nobody has to drive home
The rarest thing we offer isn't the ceremony site. It's waking up the next morning with everyone still here.
18
Farm Manor & Barn Manor
Up to 18 overnight guests combined, in a mix of private bedrooms and shared sleeping spaces. Real beds throughout, two full kitchens, and porches made for the morning after.
6–8
Camp SkyTent
From May through October, unique tree-tent accommodations tucked into the woods add space for another six to eight guests — a favorite with the younger half of the guest list.
24–26
In Wedding Season
Together, roughly 24 to 26 people can stay on the property during the warmer months. Additional lodging for other guests is available nearby in Trumansburg and Ithaca.
Finger Lakes
Close to everything worth driving to
Perry City Manors sits just outside the village of Trumansburg, in the heart of the Finger Lakes wine region, between Cayuga Lake and Ithaca.
- Taughannock Falls — about five minutes away, and one of the finest wedding photography locations in the region
- Trumansburg village — restaurants, cafés, and shops within a few minutes' drive
- Ithaca & Cornell — roughly twenty minutes
- Cayuga Lake wineries — an easy afternoon for guests arriving early
The Day Itself
What the hours in between look like
Between the ceremony and the last dance there's a whole evening — a bar in the woodshed, friends playing on the porch, a table that won't stop laughing.
Planning Your Wedding
How it comes together
We provide the property, the lodging, and a great deal of local knowledge. Your planner or coordinator runs the day itself.
-
1
Tell us what you're imagining
Share your dates, your guest count, and the shape of the weekend you have in mind.
-
2
Visit the property
Walk the pines and the meadow, see the houses, and picture where everything would go.
-
3
Receive a custom proposal
We'll put together a quote built around your dates, guest count, lodging, and how much of the property you'll use.
-
4
Build your team
We'll share trusted local vendors — caterers, rentals, planners, photographers — and coordinate access with them.
For larger weddings we ask that couples work with a professional planner or day-of coordinator. It protects the thing you actually came here for: being present at your own wedding.
