Private Events & Gatherings
Gather Somewhere Memorable
Reunions, celebrations, workshops, and gatherings in the heart of the Finger Lakes — on a private property where your whole group can stay.
Start an InquiryThe Whole Place, Just for You
Not a room you rent. A place to settle into.
Most venues give you a few hours and a shared parking lot. Perry City Manors gives you a private stretch of Finger Lakes countryside — pine woods, a wildflower meadow, trails, fire pits, and houses with real kitchens — for as long as your group needs it.
That changes what a gathering can be. Cousins who'd normally scatter to three different hotels stay under one roof. The cookout doesn't end because the hall closes. People wander off to the fire pit, come back, and keep talking. The weekend has room to breathe.
What Brings Groups Here
All kinds of good reasons
If it involves people you care about and more than one day, it probably fits.
Family Reunions
Three generations, one property, and nobody commuting between hotels.
College & Alumni Reunions
A private base near Cornell and Ithaca College for the friends who always meant to do this again.
Graduation Weekends
Room for the whole family to come celebrate — and somewhere to have dinner afterward.
Milestone Birthdays
The kind of birthday that deserves more than a restaurant reservation.
Anniversary Celebrations
Gather the people who were there the first time, and the ones who came after.
Workshops & Wellness
Yoga, writing, art, and facilitated gatherings that benefit from quiet and open space.
Rehearsal Dinners & Welcome Parties
Getting married elsewhere in the Finger Lakes? Host the surrounding gatherings here.
Clubs & Organizations
Groups that want somewhere private to meet, cook, walk, and talk without an audience.
Ithaca & Cornell Weekends
Graduation and reunion weekends, solved
Anyone who has tried to book Ithaca lodging for graduation weekend knows the problem: rooms disappear a year out, the family ends up split across three hotels, and there's nowhere to actually sit down together.
We're about twenty minutes from Cornell and Ithaca College, with room for the whole family on one property — plus kitchens, porches, and a meadow for the celebration dinner afterward.
- Cornell graduation & reunion weekends
- Ithaca College graduation & reunion weekends
- Alumni and class gatherings at any time of year
- Family weekends and campus visits
These weekends book far in advance. If you know your date, it's worth reaching out early — even a year ahead is not too soon.
The Property
Places to spread out, and places to come back to
The Meadow
Open ground for a tented dinner, lawn games, or a hundred folding chairs facing the same direction — with the pine woods and walking trails just past the treeline.
The Fire Pits
Where the weekend actually happens. Long after dinner, and again before anyone else is awake.
Houses & Kitchens
Two full kitchens, big tables, and living rooms that fit everybody — so you can cater it, or cook it yourselves.
The Table
Some of the best food in New York is grown within twenty minutes of here. We'll point you at the caterers, farms, and cheesemakers worth knowing.
However You Do It
Bring your own traditions
A piper in the goldenrod. A signature cocktail named after the road. The swing set nobody can pry the kids off. The good parts are yours to bring — we just make room for them.

How It Works
Simple gatherings stay simple
A twenty-person family reunion needs very little from us beyond the keys and a fire. A seventy-person celebration needs a bit more planning. We'll tell you honestly which one you're describing.

Key Details
The practical answers
- Group size
- Gatherings of up to 75 guests, depending on setup and requirements. Smaller groups are very much welcome — many of our favorite weekends are twenty people.
- Overnight capacity
- Up to 18 guests in Farm Manor and Barn Manor, plus roughly 6–8 more in Camp SkyTent's tree tents from May through October.
- Food
- Cook in the houses' two full kitchens, bring in a caterer, or a mix of both. We'll share local recommendations. Larger gatherings should plan on professional catering.
- Parking
- Approximately 30 vehicles onsite. Larger gatherings may need carpooling or additional arrangements.
- Outdoor event end time
- 9:00 PM outdoors. Evenings continue indoors and around the fire pits.
- Rentals & equipment
- Tents, tables, chairs, and similar are arranged through local rental vendors. Larger outdoor gatherings should include a tent and weather plan.
- Location
- Trumansburg, New York — about twenty minutes from Ithaca, Cornell, and Ithaca College, and five minutes from Taughannock Falls.
- Season
- The houses are available year-round. The meadow, trails, and Camp SkyTent are at their best from late spring through fall.
Pricing
A reunion isn't priced like a wedding
We quote private gatherings on their own terms. A family weekend that mostly needs beds, a kitchen, and a fire pit costs very differently from a seventy-person catered celebration — and it should.
Your quote is built around:
- Your dates & season
- Guest count
- Overnight guests
- Length of stay
- Which spaces you'll use
- Setup requirements
Tell us what you're imagining and we'll send back something clear and itemized.
